Updates:
The 12 week HG let up is now over and I am sick in full force again. For those of you who have asked over the past few weeks about my weight loss the answer is that it is all due to not being able to eat and vomitting. Nice diet plan, huh? I was very upset about my weight at the NT scan but the doctor assured me that everything is fine and that I eventually will start to put on weight once I hit the 20 week point. The only foods I have been tolerating are bagels, coke, ginger ale, gatorade and the occasional slice of pizza. I can also tolerate white rice but can’t tolerate making it so it’s sort of an issue.
The great news is that my transfer to an office close to home when through. So for instance when I was sick this morning I went home for three hours and then was close enough to come back so I wouldn’t miss a whole day of work. I am interested to see what the OB says tomorrow about this whole situation and what his recommedations are to manage it better. I am starting to get worried I won’t have enough sick time once the baby comes to last until STD starts but my health is number one priority and if we have to go a few days with no pay its really not the end of the world. Hell, its probably cheaper than the ER visit that would have happened tonight if I hadn’t gone home to rest.
I have gotten some comments already on how big I look for 12/13 weeks. Gee people I don’t know what to tell you…”stop looking at my intestines.” It is what it is, I haven’t gained any weight so its not like I was pigging out 24/7 and that’s why I look huge. I am sure some is still bloat but its definintely higher than it was a few weeks ago. The funny thing is these are the same people telling me two weeks ago that I looked emiciated from not eating and were shoving pizza down my throat. You just can’t make some people happy!

Updates!

Well the most exciting thing about this week is that New Moon comes out tomorrow at midnight. Oh yes, I am a twihard. I will probably even wear my “Forks: Making it sprinkle so you don’t sparkle” shirt.
So besides that the good news is that as of today I am feeling great for once! Chris says this has been the first day of my pregnancy where I actually seem to be enjoying myself. Who knows how tomorrow will be but there definitely does seem to be a light at the end of the m/s tunnel which is great because last night I was so miserable from the phenegran suppositories that I was close to tears. Needless to say I will no longer be using those anymore and will just take the unisom from now on.
I whipped out the spring clothing box today and was pleasantly surprised at how much fit! That thirty extra pounds that I was carrying last year really came in handy so I shouldn’t need to buy any maternity clothes for at least another month. We also cleaned out the stores buying Chris new shorts and shirts last year so he is covered for the summer months and is going to look HOT! :) I love shopping at the outlets at the end of each season.
The boys are doing well, their yeast infections cleared up and its now warm enough to take daily walks. So if you know them you know they are basically as happy as pigs in shit right now. I love love love it when they put their heads to my lower stomach, it’s so cute!
My first tri screening is next Friday so if that all goes well then we are finally going to come out to the world aka facebook;P The one thing I really want to know is how am I already 11 weeks???

Cue the water works!

We were back in triage today when we got to hear our little one’s heartbeat. So beautiful. I loved the doctor we had today, I am not sure if it is because I finally hit 9 weeks that she looked for it or what but it was freaking awesome. It makes spilling ketones like its no one’s business worth it.
I also have an update on the OB situation. My OB rents space out to my RE and is basically forbidden to see me until I am officially released from my RE. Sucks ass. I talked to the OB nurse “unofficially” and she said that there are some other things they would try including having me go to an IV infusion place every few days to get tanked up instead of waiting until I am screwed and then going to the ER. That’s one of the main issues with hyperemsis patients that I have read…the meds won’t work if you are dehydrated so it’s just a bad cycle of getting tanked, taking the meds, puking, getting dehydrated and repeating the cycle. If you can get and stay hydrated apparently it all works out much better so I am going to mention this to the RE’s OB lady that I am seeing on Tuesday to see if I can start that now since I most likely have 11 weeks still until I will feel like a normal human again.
So that’s that! I look like death warmed over, that glow has been hard to achieve the past few days:) I am hoping that with me being on Reglan now instead of Zofran will help me at least keep everything down this weekend…
